Individual Excellence Awards




The Ethical Leadership Excellence award recognizes an individual who demonstrates unwavering integrity, transparency, and principled decision-making in leadership. This award honors leaders who prioritize ethical conduct in their strategies, influence others through moral courage, and foster a culture of trust and accountability within their organization or community. These leaders not only achieve results but do so in a way that reflects the highest ethical standards.


ELIGIBILITY


  • Open to individuals in senior, executive, or leadership roles in any sector (corporate, nonprofit, public, or entrepreneurial).

  • The nominee must have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership position.

  • Open to national and international entries.




Judging Criteria


  • Ethical decision-making and integrity.

  • Impact on team or organizational culture.

  • Transparency and accountability.

  • Evidence of sustainable and values-based leadership.



QUALITATIVE CRITERIA


  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical principles in difficult or high-pressure situations.

  • Acts as a role model and mentor in ethical behavior for peers and subordinates.

  • Leadership that promotes inclusivity, fairness, and social responsibility.

  • Ability to drive change while maintaining ethical standards.

  • Influence on shaping ethical policies or standards within the organization or industry.




METRICS


  • Reduction in ethics-related incidents, complaints, or compliance breaches.

  • Measurable improvements in employee trust or culture surveys.

  • Number and quality of ethical initiatives implemented or led.

  • Positive media coverage or third-party recognition for ethical leadership.

  • Engagement in corporate social responsibility (CSR) or sustainability programs.




ADDITIONAL CRITERIA


  • Testimonials from colleagues, team members, or partners about the nominee's ethical leadership.

  • Documented evidence of initiatives that improved ethical standards or organizational integrity.

  • Endorsements from HR, compliance, or governance teams (if applicable).

  • Evidence of external speaking, writing, or advocacy on ethics or integrity in leadership.
